Every year, the BBC’s Horizons show sends a film crew to the United States to cover stories ranging across the scientific spectrum. Before touching down in Berkley to meet with Sylvatex, the Horizons crew met with Bill Gates in Seattle, and Howard Buffet in Arizona.  On his 1,400-acre research farm in southern Arizona, the son of billionaire Warren Buffet is developing systems for better crops and more efficient land use, for both poor subsistence farmers and also for large corporate farmers.
